Diane Fowler - CVT, Hospital Manager
Diane has worked at Bush Animal Hospital in many capacities. She became a CVT working as lead tech for many years and has been our practice manager since 2005. She particularly enjoys the people aspect of her job including the very special owners that we have, as well as keeping the staff on track! Activities with the dogs, family and friends keep this gal busy when she's not at work.
Peg has been with us since 1989. She earned her Certified Veterinary Technician license in 1994. She considers communication with our clients about the health of their pets the focus of her job. She has recently begun to work closely with our clients who are considering dental work for their pets. Her life away from the clinic is filled with serving as staff for the 5 cats she and her husband adore, gourmet cooking, rafting, back packing, and managing the office of The Resource Innovation Group. Her most recent passion (aside from animals, of course!) is vegetable gardening. Ever hopeful, she spends fall and winter weekends pouring over the Territorial Seed Catalog and spring and summer weekends planting seeds and nurturing the growth.
Karen joined our team as a Certified Veterinary Technician in August 2004. She graduated from OSU with a Bachelor of Science, and then proceeded to acquire an Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology from Portland Community College. For Karen, surgery and pain management are the most rewarding aspects of her job.
Karen's interests include anything outdoors, horticulture, fungi, music, art and yoga. At home she loves spending time with her two cats, Poppy and Jubel, and her two guinea pigs, Truffle and Chanterelle.
Jamie joined our team in May 2006. She moved to Eugene from Cleveland, Ohio with several years of experience. She enjoys pet dentistry and would like to become a specialized dental technician. She stays busy with her cattle dog (Peyote) and her tri-pawed dog (Lula), 4 cats, chickens and a husband (Chris). While not at work, she enjoys gardening, camping, hiking, biking and snowboarding. Jamie is also our resident photographer due to her knack for capturing that perfect shot.
Tara realized her dream of becoming a veterinary technician in 2006, when she earned her Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology from National American University in Rapid City, South Dakota. She joined the Bush team in February 2007. Tara enjoys all aspects of her work from patient care to client education. Her pets include 3 dogs (a red heeler, a chow-chow, and a chocolate lab) and 5 cats.
Rosalynn came to Bush Animal Hospital to complete her externship during summer 2014 and has now joined our team!
Rosalynn graduated from National American University in Rapid City, SD as a veterinary technician. She loves to spend time with her boyfriend and her dog, Jedi. She enjoys biking on her yellow cruiser, baking delicious cookies and watching her dog swim. She loves what she has seen of Oregon and can't wait to see more!
Leah, Vet Assistant
Leah came to Bush Animal Hospital in the summer of 2012. Her love of animals and science makes her a perfect fit. One of her favorite aspect of working at Bush is educating clients about proper animal husbandry. When not at work, Leah enjoys spending time at her home with her husband working on their hobby farm. Her furry and feathered children keep her busy. The list includes; chickens, goats, a bundle of fish, a cockatiel, a cat, and two wonderful dogs! Besides animals and family, her interests include gardening, cooking, and photography.
Becky, Vet Assistant
Becky was born and raised in Idaho. After a lot of traveling, she is
excited to call the Eugene area home. Becky has four years of experience
in the veterinary field. She loves cytology and client education. In
her spare time, Becky is working on completing her Interdisciplinary
Studies Degree with dual minors. She enjoys traveling, hiking, camping
and fitness. Becky is married, has a chihuahua, a labradore and two
Angie, Vet Assistant
Angie joined the BAH team in March of 2015. She began her journey into the veterinary field over 13 years ago in Salt Lake City, Utah. Her love of the ocean and the natural beauty of Oregon brought her to Eugene. She loves spending time with her boyfriend, their cat Sookie and their new puppy, Edison! Angie also enjoys biking, hiking and discovering new sites in Oregon.
Corina, Lead Receptionist
Corina has worked with us since May 2006. In December of 2010 she was promoted to lead receptionist. Corina always comes to work with a positive attitude and a smile. While not at work, Corina enjoys supporting animal welfare organizations as a foster parent. In May of 2011 she adopted Moose, an adult pit mix from LCAS.
Allison is kept busy at home by her husband, 2 dogs, 1 cat and 4 goldfish. She enjoys working in her garden, playing fetch with her dogs and anything else that involves being outdoors.
Have you met Chad? Chad joined Bush Animal Hospital in Dec 2015. He was born and raised in Moore, OK where he helped his husband run a real estate company. In 2013, they decided to leave Oklahoma for something new and exciting by moving to California. They decided that California didn't really feel like home, so then gave Eugene, Oregon a chance. They fell in love with this area! Chad always wanted to get the chance to work with fur babies along with helping their owners get the service they deserve. When not at work, Chad loves spending time with his husband and their dog, Lola. Chad also enjoys camping, hiking, biking, baking and cooking. He dreams of skydiving someday too!
Susan came to Bush Animal Hospital in September of 2011. While Susan is a native of Pennsylvania and even worked at Hershey Park in Hershey PA. (the sweetest place on earth), Susan and her family have fallen in love with Eugene. Susan not only loves the animal aspect of her job, but the people as well, which makes her job as a veterinary receptionist a perfect fit. When Susan is not snuggling a cute pooch, she is camping in the great outdoors with her camera at her side, her husband, three children, and the family dog, Friday. All the while her two cats watch the home front.
Tara started at Bush Animal Hospital in May 2014. Her favorite part of the job is interacting with all the "pet parents" and loving on their pets. She enjoys horseback riding, water sports & being outdoors with her rambunctious pup, Astyn. While at home she is also kept busy with her adorable cat.. James Bond.
