Diane Fowler - CVT, Hospital Manager

Diane has worked at Bush Animal Hospital in many capacities.  She became a CVT working as lead tech for many years and has been our practice manager since 2005.   She particularly enjoys the people aspect of her job including the very special owners that we have, as well as keeping the staff on track!  Activities with the dogs, family and friends keep this gal busy when she's not at work.

Technicians

Peg-cvt

Peg - CVT

Peg has been with us since 1989. She earned her Certified Veterinary Technician license in 1994. She considers communication with our clients about the health of their pets the focus of her job. She has recently begun to work closely with our clients who are considering dental work for their pets. Her life away from the clinic is filled with serving as staff for the 5 cats she and her husband adore, gourmet cooking, rafting, back packing, and managing the office of The Resource Innovation Group. Her most recent passion (aside from animals, of course!) is vegetable gardening. Ever hopeful, she spends fall and winter weekends pouring over the Territorial Seed Catalog and spring and summer weekends planting seeds and nurturing the growth.
Karen-cvt

Karen

Karen joined our team as a Certified Veterinary Technician in August 2004.  She graduated from OSU with a Bachelor of Science, and then proceeded to acquire an Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology from Portland Community College.  For Karen, surgery and pain management are the most rewarding aspects of her job.

Karen's interests include anything outdoors, horticulture, fungi, music, art and yoga.  At home she loves spending time with her two cats, Poppy and Jubel, and her two guinea pigs, Truffle and Chanterelle.
Jamie

Jamie

Jamie joined our team in May 2006.  She moved to Eugene from Cleveland, Ohio with several years of experience.  She enjoys pet dentistry and would like to become a specialized dental technician.  She stays busy with her cattle dog (Peyote) and her tri-pawed dog (Lula), 4 cats, chickens and a husband (Chris). While not at work, she enjoys gardening, camping, hiking, biking and snowboarding. Jamie is also our resident photographer due to her knack for capturing that perfect shot.
Tara-cvt

Tara

Tara realized her dream of becoming a veterinary technician in 2006, when she earned her Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology from National American University in Rapid City, South Dakota.  She joined the Bush team in February 2007.  Tara enjoys all aspects of her work from patient care to client education.  Her pets include 3 dogs (a red heeler, a chow-chow, and a chocolate lab) and 5 cats.
Abby-cvt

Abby

Abby joined BAH in May 2007 as a CVT with 6 years of veterinary experience.  Her special interests are in geriatric joint health and physical therapy, as she is taking pre-reg classes for physical therapy school.  She is also a certified dental technician and especially loves any procedures involving anesthesia and pain management.
When not at work, Abby spends as much time outdoors as possible, hiking, trail running and snowboarding.  Abby is owned by her 3 dogs and 2 cats.

Vet Assistants

Jim-vet-assistant

Jim

Jim Clark has been with Bush since July 2003.  He has a special place in his heart for small dogs, as he has 2 Chihuahuas and a Pekingese at home. Jim’s favorite aspect of his job is assisting in orthopedic surgeries and insuring patients are receiving the most advanced analgesia available. While not at work Jim spends his time at school working on a business degree.  His recreation of choice is anything outdoors; rock climbing, skiing, hiking and rafting.

Diane started at Bush Animal Hospital in 1990. She was the former lead receptionist, but has since stepped down into semi retirement. Pesa_2012

Pesa

Pesa came to Bush Animal Hospital in October 2009. A life long animal lover, Pesa found a great way to spend the day as a receptionist at Bush Animal Hospital. While not snuggling on “the little ones” (she has a soft spot for Chihuahua’s), Pesa is out and about with her best friend Jamilla and her boyfriend Travis. The three are often found spending a day at the coast, beach combing on one of Oregon’s beautiful beaches. When she is at home her cat Beatrice is sure to be found by her side.
Susan_2012

Susan Hudlow

Susan came to Bush Animal Hospital in September of 2011. While Susan is a native of Pennsylvania and even worked at Hershey Park in Hershey PA. (the sweetest place on earth), Susan and her family have fallen in love with Eugene. Susan not only loves the animal aspect of her job, but the people as well, which makes her job as a veterinary receptionist a perfect fit. When Susan is not snuggling a cute pooch, she is camping in the great outdoors with her camera at her side, her husband, three children, and the family dog, Friday. All the while her two cats watch the home front.
