Jamie joined our team in May 2006. She moved to Eugene from Cleveland, Ohio with several years of experience. She most enjoys surgery/anesthesia, pain management and animal behavior. During the pandemic in 2021, she studied and became a Certified Professional Dog Trainer. She is also Fear Free Certified in both the veterinary and trainer programs. She is an advocate for positive reinforcement training and cooperative care. When not at work, Jamie is kept busy entertaining her two cattle dogs: Peyote and Banshee. You might often find them out in the forest, hiking or mountain biking. She also has two geriatric cats and a husband at home.
